Never accuse Browns cornerback T.J. Carrie of not having his heart in the game. Carrie’s heart problems nearly derailed his football career, but the Ohio University product has kept fighting to keep the NFL dreams alive and kicking.

Carrie had open heart surgery when he was 15 and it was a big question if he’d ever play any sports at all again, let alone a violent contact sport like football. He’s drawn on his experience and journey to help others overcome similar adversity, establishing a foundation to help kids achieve their dreams.
